Ducati regulator/rectifiers are prone to failure. Part of the problem is the way the rectifier bridge is set up inside the OE part. We designed our ESR510 with a similar rectifier bridge to a Japanese OE unit. The resulting unit has superior power handling, and it is designed to be a plug in replacement for the OE part. We have incorporated a heatsink that gets rid of internal heat to the housing quickly and efficiently, making for a very reliable unit. The part comes with a full one year warranty.
