Soft Link for Intruder 1500
1. In order to install the soft-link kit, the rear wheel of the bike must be
elevated. Also, this installation process will require two people.
2. After the bikes rear wheel has been raised, remove the bolts that hold the
dog bone suspension linkage and remove the linkage itself. The extra person will be needed
to raise the rear wheel while the other removes the bolts.
3. Next, install the GenMar soft-link system where the old linkage used to be.
The second person will also be needed to raise the rear wheel to align the bolt holes.
4. Tighten the suspension bolt to the same torque settings as in your owner
manual.
