ANSWER: It uses Butt connectors. It is mounted at the stock location..... Not necessarily "like stock"....

QUESTION: I recntly bought this kit from you and it does not fit flush up to the plastic. The metal is not cut to fit the cut out part of the tail section. It seems like a horrible design. Did I get the right one for my bike, 2006 gsxr 750 The rumble Import looks like its a more custom fit.
ANSWER: the fit is the best we could do with stainless steel sheet metal. once its bolted into place the fit seems fine, we'll take another look at it this weekend to see if there's a problem we don't know about, check back with us end of next week.
QUESTION: can we see some pictures of the kit, and what it looks like installed, all I can see is the side of the tail!!
