The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION:  Will the single work on a 2007 R6S? Do you have a six shooter slider to match the spools? Thanks
ANSWER:  yes
QUESTION:  Are the bullet ends able to be unscrewed and replaced or does the whole thing have to be replaced in the event of a lowside? Also, would it be possible to get a bigger higher resolution picture of this slider maybe on a different colored bike?
ANSWER:  The item in question is one piece. Just as any barend these are sacraficial in the event of a lowside.
QUESTION:  Sorry I just read your response from my question just as I was submitting it again. But you do make a good point derelin is boring to look at. However, being that you guys know a bit about adding style to a bike I need your opinion. I just looked at the new Light Up Translucent Sliders and wanted to know which you guys like more. It's a tough decision.
ANSWER:  The 50 caliber slider. No doubt about it.
QUESTION:  Would these be just as strong as regular derelin resin sliders?
ANSWER:  Just as if not stonger.
QUESTION:  is their any cutting involved on yzf r6 2004 50 Caliber Bullet Frame Slider: Yamaha
ANSWER:  Cutting is involved if you need to locate your motormounts behind the fairings.
QUESTION:  Is there a particular strength rating for these and if so how does it compare to the strength of the derelin resin sliders?
ANSWER:  We have had a couple of our own bikes go down and the frame sliders held up as expected. These frame sliders are made from high quailty T-6 6061 aircraft aluminum. They are not only visual but functional as any frame slider should be. Frame sliders are supposed to be sacraficial. They are designed to take the grunt of a fall and protect the fairing as much as they can.Delrin will do the job but they are boring to look at.Why not use some thing that looks cool and functions just as well.
QUESTION:  How far from the fairing do these stick out? Are they shorter than standard frame sliders?
ANSWER:  Depends on the bike itself. Our sliders are about 3 1/2" long plus the length of spacer for that bike. They stick out far enough to offer the same degree of protection to your bike as the other slider by other companys do.
QUESTION:  Is their any cutting involved or serious mods for for the R6?
ANSWER:  A 3/4 inch hole for the spacer.
QUESTION:  Is their any cutting involved or serious mods for item no. 50CFS Yam-x
ANSWER:  For the R-1 no serious mods are required.
