BMW K 1200LT Windscreen Design #2

Our new 1200 LT #2 touring shield was designed to the rider and passenger smooth airflow and quieter noise suppression than the stock OEM shield. This shield has a built in reverse contour that is very subtle, yet pushes the ram air higher than the stock shield. We have added a low pressure point in the shield to deflect more impact air to the sides of the shield, which has the advantage less noise for the rider and passenger. This shield is made of .250 aircraft grade acrylic, and each shield is hand crafted to order. They are available in clear, light gray tint and light green tint. Dark gray tint is available in the -4" shorter than stock version. Windshields are available from -4" shorter than stock, to +4" over the stock height. The width of the windshields are approximately 28.5" at the widest point. Please keep in mind that with the reverse contour, you might want to consider a shorter than stock shield. Most customers are satisfied with a -1 to a -2" version, as they report this gives them better protection than the stock shield. Stock height listed below is 24" tall.
Note: Mounting Hardware is not included (use stock or replacement hardware purchased from BMW directly).

NOTE: Our #2 K1200 LT (-3") is equivalent to the airflow over the top of the shield, as the standard stock windshield.

I own a manufacturing company and am very critical of quality. I had an (overpriced) A ****** windshield that came nowhere near the optical clarity or rigidity of your windshield. I am 6'1" and opted for the +2 shield which gives a perfectly clear field of vision on the K1200LT. Thanks also for the cleaning kit as I will use it to keep that clarity.
