The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION: Do these come as a pair?
ANSWER: Yes
QUESTION: I have a Yamaha YZF R1 2002, if i purchase these lights do i have to purchase some adapter plates for my bike, i plan to install them as the front turn signals.
ANSWER: These cowl lamps require a flat mounting surfaceto fasten to, and the YZF-R1 has a compound curve at the signal light mount area. They would not fit or look good in my opinion. You should consider the Adapter plates # 07-250 which will allow you to install any style of aftermarket short stalk signal you like.
QUESTION: Hello name is Fernando, i just ordered item #Y02R1-SB ABS Undertail and i'm trying to find matching front turn signals or some that will blend in with bike pretty good, something as flush as possible, will these work or do you have some you might suggest, with clear or smoke covers, thanks
ANSWER: You need to contact 1 Tail. We at Targa are not familiar with the undertail you purchased.
QUESTION: Ok, these are pretty dark. Will you see the signal fine or is there a loss in visibility?
ANSWER: There is some reduction in the light transmittancy with a smole lens, but still reasonably visible. If you are really concerned, you may want to stick with amber lens.
QUESTION: will these fit a 2002 zzx-9r ?
ANSWER: I assume you mean a 2202 ZX-9r. These signals require a flat mounting surface to install properly, and the Zx-9r has protrusions from the fairing where the stock signals mount. You would be better off using our adapter plates # 07-450bk which will accept most aftermarket short stalk type signals, or adapter plates # 07-451 which use the mini cat-eye cowl lamp # 07-9351a/c amber lens or 07-9351c/a clear lens.
QUESTION: will these fit a 2002 yamaha R6?
ANSWER: These lights ar a universal type and not model specific. They require a flat surface to mount to that is 3 1/2" long and 2 1/4" high. Your bike has mostly curved surfaces and would not be a good fit. You might want to look into the adapter plates # 07-251BK and a pair of short stalk type signal lights.
QUESTION: Will these fit an 2001 F4i?
ANSWER: Not really. These cowl lamps require a flat panel for mounting and your F4i has
high and low areas where the front signals are located. We do not have any signals that are specifically for the Honda F4-i.
QUESTION: will these fit on a 2003 ZX6RR 636
ANSWER: Not really because of the strange shape of the stock signal mount area. These lamps require a flat base and the Ninja has a protrusion. You would be better off with the Adapter plates # 07-450 or 07-451 and a pair of short stalk or mini cowl lamps.
QUESTION: will these fit a 2004 R1
ANSWER: Depends where you intend to mount them. Generally, these are universal signals an frankly not very stylish for the R-1. You might want to look into the adapter plate kit #07-250BK and a pair of short stalk signals if you are looking to put them on the front.
QUESTION: are these a good fit for a 2004 gsxr 600?
ANSWER: These cowl lamps must be mounted to a flat surface using either the double side foam tape or screws provided. The cowl lamp body size is large enough to cover the existing turn signal hole on the body panel. You should be OK.
QUESTION: Will these fit a CBR 600F4 2K model?
ANSWER: If you intend to use them on the front, they are not a good fit. The Flush mount lamps require a flat surface area to mount to, and the @000 600-F4 does not have this at the turn signal mount area. I would recommend any of the variety of short stalk type signal lamps available.
QUESTION: is this pic upside down? or is the turn signal lens black/smoke not clear.. thanks
ANSWER: The cowl lamp picture has the smoke lens at the top, and the black body at the
bottom. The cowl lamp with black housing/clear lens is part number 07-9350b/c.
