1.2mm to 1.4mm premium drum dyed full grain cowhide for superior abrasion and tear resistance
External pre-curved carbon protection at elbows and forearms
Aero hump for better suit aerodynamics and impact absorption
Triple and double stitched seams throughout entire suit
Removable CE approved armor at shoulders, elbows and knee/shins for maximum protection and comfort
CE approved armor at hips (removable)
High density temper foam at impact zones
Double layer leather at all impact zones
Air vents on shoulders for additional ventilation and moisture release
Full frontal perforation at chest, thighs, and aero hump for maximum airflow

FYI: The knee pucks are attached to the outside of the suit and are a replaceable part that the rider drags on the pavement. The knee pads would be inside the leathers and may be replaceable. The puck is used to drag on the ground and protect the leathers and the knee pad is used to protect the riders knee in the event of a crash.here .

QUESTION: I understand that racing leathers MAY force me into a racing position that is less comfortable on my sport touring bike than touring leathers. I am interested in MAXIMUM protection and comfort. As a tourist would I do better with touring leathers? Pocket storage is not a concern.

Race leathers will not force you into a position that is uncomfortable - this is not true.
Komodo's leathers are very well perforated: arms, chest, upper thighs.
As long as you are moving, you'll be fine and the leathers will not fatigue you.

QUESTION: What's the torso length for the size 50 and 52 suits (the crotch to shoulder dimension)? I'm 6-6 and am concerned about the fit height-wise. Do you have much experience with tall guys buying these suits? Thanks!
ANSWER: The lenght from crotch to shoulder(at collar)is 35" on both suits.
