The dramatic purge effect that people have come to love is now availiable at a fraction of the cost of other systems on the market. They can be used as a vent to a CryO2 system or as a stand alone show system. Must be used with a CryO2 Tank and Install kit (#080100 or #080102). The purges come in single or dual vents and the supply line can be split multiple times for multiple bursts around the car. You can also use the purge system seperate from the CryO2 performane system buy utilizing the purge kits that includes a solenoid vave and extension hose. This set-up will seperate the performance from the show purge.

QUESTION: I want to have my system remain hidden,a purge cloud would give it away. Do I need to purge the system at all?

ANSWER: All CryO2 systems operate at a dead loss - this means that when you engage them, the CO2 flows through the cooling elements and is exhausted, usually underneath the vehicle. in the case of an intercooler sprayer, it is exhausted directly onto the intercooler radiator. This results in a cloud of frozen water vapor. There is absolutely no need to purge the system before it is engaged to provide the boost of power that coooled intake air produces, or extended operating range and time that intercooler spraying creates - however, once engaged, it is virtually impossible to hide the cloud of condensing water vapor. Showing off is not required, and the effects once engaged are nearly instantaneous. It is the difference between a lost race/blown engine and a good run/functional equipment even after hard use.

ANSWER: Simply route the output to the location where you want the cloud of CO2 to vent. Generally, you want to aim the nozzle at the ground so that it does not spray onto somone standing by the vehicle. Don't worry, you will get quite a show, the cloud is large and no one will miss it! Note that if you have a turbo and an intercooler and wish to install a cooling bulb in the intake manifold, you simply route the output from the cooling bulb where you want AND gain the increase in power from supercooled intake air and the cloud of water vapor that comes from venting CO2.
