DID 520VM GOLD X-RING CHAIN
VM series chains have superior strength to combat breakage due to tremendous horsepower and acceleration. A special minmum friction "X" ring is used to increase performance and provide better sealing to keep out dirt and keep in lubricants. Chain has gold plates and comes suppied with a master link.

ANSWER:  Your bike comes with a 530 pitch chain stock. Lowering the front sprocket will give you more acceleration while reducing your top end. it will also raise your highway RPM`s.

ANSWER:  520, 525 and 530 are the pitch size of the chain. The smaller number is smaller and lighter. Your chain and sprockets MUST all be the same pitch. Your model came stock with a 525 pitch chain.

ANSWER:  That bike takes a 525 chain and PBI carries sprockets for that, 38-306238 rear and 38-38715 front. These sprockets would have to be special ordered.

The exact price difference is one you should research by picking a specific chain and calling a dealer for the price of the OEM chain. ANSWER:  no, 520 and 525 chains have different pin spacing and will not interchange.

ANSWER:  Your motorcycle does come with a 530 chain. Most all aftermarket chains are not endless chains and include master links. If your bike has stock gearing, it came with a 112 link chain. You can order a 120 link chain and remove the unwanted links.

ANSWER:  Depending on if you bike has stock sprockets or not Your bike came with a 525 chain which would require you to purchase a 41-525vm120 which we do not carry at the time but we do carry a EK 39-525srx120 which would be comperable to the DID. Check and see if you have stock sprocket look at the sprockets on the bike and see if you have any aftermarket sprockets and if you do get the numbers off of them and send them to me
