That's right...........an incredible 216.5 horsepower from a stock Hayabusa! Our customer came in and bought our Dry Nitrous Kit and a Fast FI Mixture Control for his Hayabusa. Went home and installed them both. A couple days later he wanted some help with jetting so off we went to the dyno. We made the first pull with all stock settings in the Fast FI Mixture Control and no nitrous. That baseline pull netted an average 155.9 horsepower. The next pull we sprayed it with a 36 nitrous jet using the instant rich feature on the Fast FI Mixture Control. That pull was good for 194.1 horsepower and the sniffer indicated its still pretty rich. This is really good news because we can get almost 40 horsepower from a really rich mixture providing an extra measure of safety from hurt parts. We made the next pull with a 43 nitrous jet. It made 216.5 and was still rich. We stopped there even though there was more left obviously.

ANSWER: Normally it is used for 1/4 mile blasts. 10 seconds or so at a time. 25 seconds shouldn't hurt it if it is tuned correctly.

ANSWER: Wherever you can find room for the bottle. Some people have been using 2 7 OZ bottles because of space issues. You should be able to use 30 HP with a power commander.

QUESTION: I picked up your dry kit and am installing it now,I don't have a rev limiter and just want to intstall but the intstructions do not say that I can see anyway, how to just install the basic kit without the MSD RPM switch. Can't I just install to the horn and start button? and is the Electric air Valve something I have to have to install? What is the air shifter? You say if I don't have an air shifter (not sure what that truly is)that I will not need the Blue-White-Black wires? Just a little lost right now. It looks as if I should be able to install the basic kit on my GSXR600 but just not use the blue wire in my case is this true?
ANSWER: All you do is cut the wire that runs from your starter pushbutton to your starter relay. attach the yellow wire on the switch swapper to the end that goes to your switch and the orange to the end going to the starter relay. The red goes to one wire on the nitrous solenoid. The other wires on the switch swapper is not used. You don't need the RPM switch. Call 407.330.9727 with any further questions.

ANSWER: You can put the nozzles closer to the valves or wait till higher rpm to hit the nitrous or go to a bigger nitrous jet. Problem is fuel enrichment is instant and the nitrous takes more time to get to the motor.

ANSWER: You can't use more nitrous than you have fuel for. You would richen the top 10% of throttle opening fully. Then run the bike on a dyno to find out Air Fuel ratio. Whether the bottom end is strong enough to handle 40 hp I do not know.

ANSWER: No exhaust reccomendation. Under the tail piece. Bottle temp can't get over 90-100 degrees. Should be fine on motor. Use good fuel.

ANSWER: There is no custom plug in harness. The kit comes with a switch swapper that lets you wire the kit by cutting only one factory wire.

ANSWER: You shouldn't need any mods to run the 20 hp jets. You really should run the bike after installation on a dyno with a sniffer to make sure you are not running lean.

ANSWER: Heat might be a problem. Anything over around 100 degrees is going to get bottle pressure way up there. Yes, you can get 2 10 oz bottles instead of the 1 lb bottle.

ANSWER: 20 HP is not a problem. We reccomend our MPS Fast FI Mixture Control or Power Commander to add aditional fuel.

ANSWER: The kit comes with jets to regulate the amount of nitrous that is injected. It comes with a .028" jet, .032" jet, and a .036" jet. Corresponding to approx 20, 30, and 40 HP respectively.

ANSWER: No upgrades to motor if you use small jets. We reccomend a dyno pull after install to be sure you aren't lean. Use it all you want.

ANSWER: No, we have no dyno charts for that bike. You should be able to use the small jets with a power commander set to richen the top 90% throttle opening.

ANSWER: You can probably get away with nothing for that small of a HP. But, you really should go to a dyno and find out the air fuel ratio before you use it extensively. If it is lean you will need a power commander or other means of richening the fuel mixture.

ANSWER: You can run the smaller jets with no added fuel. The air temp sensor will add more fuel for this type power settings. For more power our Fast FI Mixture Control or a Power Commander will be neccessary.

ANSWER: You are adding oxygen with nitrous so you must add fuel. The factory inlet temp sensor being cold from the nitrous will compensate for small HP gains without modifications. As you get more HP you will need more fuel than the temp sensor can provide. You can then use a power commander or our Fast FI Mixture Control to add fuel to the mix. For really big HP you will need the Fast FI with its instant rich feature. This locks the injectors open while the nitrous solenoid is on. The best way to tune any of these combinations is on a dyno with a O2 sensor to provide you with fuel mixture information. The more HP you make the more stress is involved on all engine and drivetrain components.
QUESTION: Can the solenoid be mounted further away from the bottle, like under the Tank on a Hayabusa. I want to hide the solenoid and wires so no one can mess with them and then run a steel braided line to the solenoid
ANSWER: Sure. You will need 2 1/8NPT Male x #4 AN Male fittings and a length of #4 line with 2 #4 AN hose ends.

ANSWER: It would take average mechanical skills. The optimum system would use the Fast FI Mixture Control to add additional fuel.

ANSWER: It won't hurt injectors. You should be able to get 20-30 more HP without much problem.
