QUESTION:  will it fit 88 ex 250?
ANSWER:  yes
QUESTION:  So, you take out the entire fender, which runs all the way to the front of the back tire.. and replace it with something that only runs 12 inches in front of the tail lights? Is it not a problem to have the rest of the underside of the bike open to dirt, water and mud? If I just cut the visible part of the fender off but leave the rest of the wheel well protection in place, can i still mount this kit?
ANSWER:  You do NOT remove the entire undertray....... You remove the back half! from the seam back... and replace it with this kit.
QUESTION:  What about the license plate light, where do I mount that? I don't see how you could from the pics.
ANSWER:  You get your light from the bottom of the tail light... clear lense is included

QUESTION:  Got the kit in yesterday. Install was fine, except 07 model does not have bolts in the stock turn signals. threfore, it is not exact bolt on bolt off. Stock turn signals have a compression clip, and tiny phillips head screw. However, a hacksaw blade and locktite will make the stock blinkers work. Still a nice kit, I like it.

ANSWER:  None.... the newer models do have a different turnsignals which do not fit the mounts as well as the early models....
QUESTION:  If I understand it right, removing the fender will leave a big hole under my seat, so will this kit still protect the bottom part from muds entering it? Or will I need to clean up alot of dirt from under my seat when I use this kit?
ANSWER:  It protects it pretty well..... But, its NOT water tight.

QUESTION:  How does the license plate illumination work? What work would need to be done for the license plate illumination? ANSWER:  Use light from the bottom of the tail light......new plexi lens supplied. no instructions or photos available

ANSWER:  No, they have not went through an approval process.

ANSWER:  positive is a strong word, were sure in that no changes have been listed for 06 that we're aware of, we wouldn't hesitate to sell it to one of our customers.

ANSWER:  It comes with a clear plastic window, which takes light off the bottom of the tail light.

ANSWER:  The signals have a dissconnect built in line. You will simply unplug your wires. Mount the kit. Then plug your wires back in.
QUESTION:  does an instruction manual(or something like that) come with this, explaining how to take off the old fender and put on the new one?
ANSWER:  Yes, It comes w/ instructions. And there's always our Tech Support to answer any additional questions you may have.
QUESTION:  I already emailed ya'll once, thanks for your quick response...I'm on the very edge of buying this...you said in the last email that all that was needed was to unbolt the stock fender and put this onto it...so the rear "blinkers" just stay in place when the stock bumper is taken off?...my fear was that the blinkers were completely connected to that old, fat, stock bumper and would release when the fender was taken off, but is that not so?...thanks again, any help would be greatly appreciated...-Brian
ANSWER:  The signals also unbolt. They get relocated onto our kit. By bolt off bolt on. I mean that there are no permanent mods to your bike.

ANSWER:  This is a simple install. No wiring. Pretty much unbolt the stock fender, and mount our kit. 45 min. job

ANSWER:  yes, they're all the same!
QUESTION:  Does this piece slid into the body (underneath the wheel well) like the factory?
ANSWER:  I don't know if it slids or not, but it does fit up in the wheel well and acts as a fender from about 12" in front of the tail light, back. This is NOT a painted undertail.
QUESTION:  Is this the new kit that slides up underneath the body like the existing plastic fender
ANSWER:  It's a stainless steel fender eliminator. It relocates the lic plate and turnsignals.
QUESTION:  will aftermarkey blinkers such as the short stalk signals fit or are the holes pre drilled ofr the factory ones
ANSWER:  They are designed to fit both.
