Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patent pending design features a universal slider puck that fits nearly all slider models. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.

The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION: Will this product work on the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR?
ANSWER: No, we have new sliders just released for the 2008 as of this week
QUESTION: Does the fering have to be modified on a cbr1000rr6 to fit the sliders. And do use sell swingarm protectores for the cbr1000rr6 also and what price would a kit be. Tanks
ANSWER: Yes, the fairing needs to be cut in order to fit the sliders on that bike. That is the only way to make them as strong as possible so that they do not break in a crash. We do sell swingarm spool sliders as well.
QUESTION: Does the kit include a cutting template for the fairing work, or does it have to be freehanded?
ANSWER: We do not include a cutting template. The pucks are 2" in diameter. You will need a hole saw to clear that dimension. We suggest you brace the backside of the fairing and use a new sharp blade.
QUESTION: What are the bolt sizes and are they 8.8 grade?
ANSWER: The bolts replace the 12mm motor mount bolts - and are 12.9 grade.
QUESTION: I'm finding out that there are more than just a few differences between the '04/'05 1000RR and the 2006. Do these work for the '06?
ANSWER: We have not tried them yet.....
QUESTION: Do these work on a 2005 modle and can you extend them a little?
ANSWER: Yes they will fit the 2005 model. Ours are one dimension approx. 30mm outside of the bodywork. We deliberately designed them slightly shorter than others available because our market focus is for road racers who hope to save the frame in a crash. The street market generally is more concerned about possibly saving the bodywork. No manufacturer of frame sliders can guarantee there will not be damage in a crash but hope to minimize the damage. Our design is unique, simple to install and the black plastic pucks will last longer because of the full surface area. We offer also aluminum pucks anodized in silver, red or blue or sleek chrome ones for the sport bike street riders.
QUESTION: i need sliders for my cbr 1100xx. have any? thanx, billy
ANSWER: No sorry we do not make any for that model.
QUESTION: Will these work on the 2002 Honda CBR954RR? What is the correct part # if these will not work?
ANSWER: WE do not make them for the 954, I am sorry.
QUESTION: Do you have Sliders where you DON'T have to drill holes?
ANSWER: No, we do not make them because they do not hold up very well in a crash.
QUESTION: do the frame sliders come in other colors besides black?
ANSWER: Yes, very soon. We have in the works some aluminum slider tops that will be avialable in Anodized Blue, Anodized Red and in Polished Aluminum. The prototypes looked really good and the test pieces we brought to some dealers resulted in a lot of pre-orders, so I'll take that as people liking them.
QUESTION: one order is for both left and right side?
ANSWER: Yes, a complete set.
QUESTION: is there any necessary mounting involved or does it all fit in the factory holes, basicly do you have to drill holes to install it?
ANSWER: Yes you need to cut 2" circular holes to install the frame sliders. Jan - Customer Service
