Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patent pending design features a universal slider puck that fits nearly all slider models. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.

The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION: 50-1199. 05 600rr. Where do they mount and what are they actually protecting. Fairing are already scratched and cracked on the bike, i am just trying to prevent damage to engine.
ANSWER: 50-1199 is a replacement puck for the frame slider kit (which has them included). They mount to the lower engine mount bolt and they will help prevent the damage you are concerned with.
QUESTION: Is 2007 cbr600rr sliders in yet??
ANSWER: Yes, they are in stock, 50-0338 is the part number, and they are the same price as this model.
QUESTION: yeah, the cbr 600rr 2007, do I have to do any cutting, drilling to install these sliders? Thank You D.B.
ANSWER: Yes, you do...we avoid offset slider if at all possible because they are not ever as durable as ones that are bolted striaght on.....we always put function first.
QUESTION: Can you please confirm if you can supply Woodcraft Frame Sliders for the all-new 2007 CBR600RR and if so what cutting is required.
Thanks
Murray
ANSWER: We are getting data as we speak...we should have everything sorted out and made within 2-3 weeks. 3-19-07
QUESTION: Where can i get exact instructions on how to install this type of frame slider on my '06 CBR 600?
ANSWER: you can email woodcraft : info@woodcraft-cfm.com
QUESTION: will these fit 2006rr and do u have no cut
ANSWER: Yes, they will fit. We don't sell no cut sliders because we have found them to be not strong enough in race applications.
QUESTION: can you find or make hot pink frame sliders for a honda 600 RR
ANSWER: No, sorry. You could powder coat a set of our Aluminum ones if you were so inclined.
QUESTION: How much of the fairings will be protected in a crash with these sliders?
ANSWER: They provide some fariing protection - but these are set up for racing and do not protrude way out. On this model in particular many other brands of slider stick out too far and can cause a crash when they hit a curb on the inside of a corner. Out sliders will not cause that problem
QUESTION: I've had other frame slider brands mounted on my 03 600RR. Will these fit into the same mounting locations?
ANSWER: They fit in the forward most engine mounting positions. You will need to cut both sides.
QUESTION: are these or any frame sliders interchangable with the swingarm or do you need sliders specifically for the back wheel? also is the risk of specifically swingarm/rearwheel sliders catching a curb or touching the ground so much that you wouldn't recommend them?
ANSWER: Swingarm sliders are used by some people - but they are not interchangeable with frame sliders. Many of them do get ripped off - but so does the occasional swingarm slider. From experience I would say you are 3-4 times as likely to have a slider torn off than a standard spool because they generally stick out considerably further
QUESTION: How many sliders total would you recommend? I'm assuming 4 total. Two each side?
ANSWER: This item is a set of 2, which is all you need - maybe a spare set of pucks would be a good idea.
QUESTION: Are sliders available for my '06 600rr?
ANSWER: They should be the same as the 05.
QUESTION: Are these black plastic pucks made out of Delrin?
ANSWER: No they are made out of a better plastic UHMW which is more durable than delrin and lighter in weight.
QUESTION: what slides are used for an 00 F4?
ANSWER: 50-0330, we have them available
QUESTION: does any one make frame sliders for the 05 cbr 600rr with out requring fairing modification. do not want to cut into expensive plastics for frame sliders
ANSWER: We do not know. Our design is focused on road racing application so we've situated the sliders in the best position to protect the frame, hence they do require cutting.
QUESTION: Do you carry sliders for the 05 CBR600RR? Will I have to drill/cut any plastic to fit them?
ANSWER: The item listed above fits the CBR600RR 03-05. You will have to cut both sides. Please note this kit is available only with the black plastic 'shorty' pucks 50-1199 due to the design of the bike.
QUESTION: Would you recommend or would you put frame sliders on a CBR 600rr?
ANSWER: I would put then on any bike I owned. Woodcraft made special sliders just for the 600RR that are low profile. Other manuacturers pucks stick out too far and can literally catch on a curb due to the low mounting position on the Honda. These are designed for racing and will hold up in a crash.
QUESTION: I had Sato sliders on my 04 cbr600rr and they fn broke off at 30mph low side. could this happen with these guys? I understand that every crash is unique...
ANSWER: Mostly likely not at that speed. We took a lot of time to design the proper distance from the bodywork that will protect the bike but not cause interference when leaned over. Our unique design will reduce the chance of bending or breaking the engine mounting bolt inside the slider base in a hard crash because there's way more protective material on the puck inself. I hope this answers your question. Jan - Customer Service
QUESTION: will these work for an 05 cbr600rr? and do they come in a set of 2?
ANSWER: Yes, they will work on the '05 and they come in pairs.
QUESTION: would these sliders work for 03 cbr600rr??
ANSWER: Yes, absolutely.
QUESTION: do you have different color pucks
ANSWER: No, for this model only we have black sliders only. The CBR600RR needed special pucks because the long pucks made by other manufacturers have actually made some racers crash (they stick out so far that they lift the wheels off the ground - because the motor mounts are very low on the Honda). For all other models we have black plastic and polished, red and blue Aluminum pucks (aluminum pucks add $12). Thanks
QUESTION: do you carry these fram sliders for '02 honda cbr600f4i
ANSWER: Not at the moment, but we could have something by the end of the week. We currrently have an F4i in our shop and are investigating the setup as we speak.
QUESTION: Do u have to drill holes into the fairing to install frame sliders?
ANSWER: Yes, for this model you do.
