Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patent pending design features a universal slider puck that fits nearly all slider models. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.

The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION: Where are the sliders mounted, via engine bolts, or frame bolts, or does something metal need to be drilled?
How are the sliders mounted, by a screw, or a through bolt with threads on both ends?
Of what material is the through bolt made?
ANSWER: They are mounted via the motor mount bolts...nothing metal drilled at all. Each slider is individually mounted using a high strength bolt. These have been crash proven very well over the past couple seasons.
QUESTION: What the difference in performance between the plastic puck and anodized aluminum puck? And the price difference?
ANSWER: The plastic puck is a little better to crash on - better impact absorption with similar abrasion resistance. The price difference is about $10.
QUESTION: I noticed on the '08 it does not show anything for bodywork modification. Just want to make sure if I still have to modify the fairing.
ANSWER: Yes, the 08 is the same as the other years.
QUESTION: what all is needed to install frameslider on a "07" ninja 650r?
ANSWER: They require cutting holes for the pucks...outside of that installation takes basic tools and about 5 minutes. They are race proven and work very well.
QUESTION: With this frameslider do I need to cut into my bike at all or is it made for the stock bike. I notice that I can not use straight sliders I have to have an offset for my fearing.... If you can please provide the information I requested I appreciate it!
ANSWER: These sliders require cutting a hole in the fairing. We chose this style as sliders with a large offset are far weaker and can actually do more damage than good when you crash on them.
QUESTION: First i just wanted to make sure these framsliders are for the Ninja 650r. If they are do they required fairing mods? and what are pucks? are pucks required for the framsliders? Also if you could direct me to a link for a picture of these that would be great. Also i checked woodcraft's website, and they didn't have any slider down for the 650r. I know these are a lot of questions, i thank you in advance for you response.
ANSWER: Yes, they will require fairing mods. We make all of our slider to be as strong as possible and have found sliders with large offsets to be weak. Pucks are the plastic parts that go on the aluminum bases, so they are certainly required. No pictures yet....
