Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patent pending design features a universal slider puck that fits nearly all slider models. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.

    The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION:  What about the k7 gsxr 1000? Do you make slider for it?
ANSWER:  Yes, they are in stock, part number 50-0249, same price.
QUESTION:  Do I have to cut the my 2002 GSX-R 600 to get these to fit, or do they just bolt on
ANSWER:  There is some partial cutting required on one side....that way the sliders are as strong as possible.
QUESTION:  do you have gsxr 1000 2001 frame sliders and if so how much. NO CUT!!! My bike is blue and white. Do you have blue white or black or chrome?
ANSWER:  On your bike, you must trim the bodywork on the left side. We have Blue, Black and Chrome slider tops.
QUESTION:  is there any modification required for 05 gsxr600 frame sliders and if not where do they bolt on?
ANSWER:  There is no cutting on this model.
QUESTION:  Are these available for GSXR 1000 /06'? Not interested in aluminum, plastic only. Would prefer white if available.
ANSWER:  Yes, this is the kit for your bike
QUESTION:  today is april 15, 2006. are there ay frame slider for the 06 gsxr- 600?if so, do they bolt on or is there cutting involved? thanks!
ANSWER:  Yes, they are available. Cutting is involved, as we will only make sliders that will hold up and have never found an offset slider that does an adequate job.
QUESTION:  I have a gsxr600 03', how easy is installation, I want to put on the red anodized aluminum sliders. Is it as easy as screwing them into the frame, or am I going tohave to perform surgery? Thanks in advance!
ANSWER:  Installation is easy. You will have to partially cut the bodywork on the left side for clearance.
QUESTION:  Does a 2000 GSX-R 750 need any fairing modification to fit these frame sliders?
ANSWER:  The left side needs some trimming, the right side is clear.
QUESTION:  I have a 2006 gsxr 600 and was wondering if you had to do any mods to install the frame sliders(cutting)?
ANSWER:  Yes, but this part number (50-0240)is not the correct one for your bike. The new 06 GSXR600/750 takes part number 50-0247. As far as the cutting, they do require it. We do not believe in making something that does not work, and offset sliders can cause more damage than they prevent at times.....so we avoid them whenever possible.
QUESTION:  Frame sliders for 06 suzuki gsxr600????Do you have them?
ANSWER:  They will arrive before the end of the week. (before April)
QUESTION:  IS THERE ANY NEWS ON WHEN THE LOWERING LINK AND THE FRAME SLIDERS WILL BE OUT FOR THE 06 GSX-R 600??? THANX FOR ANY HELP!!!

QUESTION:  Hello, just checking back to see if these sliders will fit a 06 GSX-R600. Thank you
ANSWER:  We are presently awaiting a new '06 model bike so we can determine if the current frame sliders will fit or not. Our guess is new ones will have to be designed. Stay tuned..
QUESTION:  IS FAIRING MODIFICATION REQUIRED TO PUT FRAME SLIDERS ON A 2003 GSXR-750
ANSWER:  Yes, but only a small bit of clearancing on one side - no holes to cut
QUESTION:  how long are the frame sliders for 2005 gsxr 1000
ANSWER:  They stick out about 30mm past the bodywork.
QUESTION:  Are there any modifications needed for the 2005 gsxr 1000 and what is the longest I can get o wouldn’t the aluminum sliders be bad if the bike hits the ground and would they slide or catch on the ground
ANSWER:  There are no mods needed for the 05 GSXR1000. The sliders are all set up to protrude about 30mm. This is to provide frame and some bodywork protection without giving the bike a big lever to break your frame of cylinder head with. The alminum sliders will slide - but there is a little less impact absorption than with the plastic sliders, which also slide a little better. Although they do work, the aluminum pucks are mainly made for thier good looks.
