ANSWER: You'll lose about 10% off your storage..... you can bungee to the signal bracets..... OEM replacement light will work fine.

QUESTION: I have a 1998 suzuki gsxr and i was wondering what is the difference between this tail section and the stock one? Does it eliminate the turn siganl holes? Is it longer to cover more of the tail light?
ANSWER: This does not change the tail section. Only the black plastic rear fender. Gives you new mounting points for your license plate and turn signals.
QUESTION: I am not a bike junkie so please be patient, When you say the fender you mean the plastic that surrounds the back of the bike? Because my plastic is so wide and I want a sleeker look like the newer sport bikes. Will this fix my problem. What color is it?
ANSWER: Actually NO. The fender is the black plastick hanging off the back (where your license plate is). What your talking about is a tail section.
QUESTION: I am a new bike owner and i have a 97 GSXR 600 SRAD. What all comes with this kit, Will I need a new seat. can the tail light be intergrated
ANSWER: Our kit simply gets rid of the rear fender. It does not effect the rear seat or tail light. You can run an Assimilator in stead of your signals.
QUESTION: Do you have a picture of a '97 - '99 Gixxer 600 with the competition kit installed ? I've seen the picture you show from the side of the bike but am interested in seeing it from underneath. Plus my bike ( '98 ) has already had the fender hacked so maybe a better pic or even some installation pics would tell me if this product would work for my Gixxer. Thanks, Neil

QUESTION: I have a Sharkskinz one-piece racing single on my 1999 GSX-R750. I am wondering if your 1S753 kit will work with that bodywork. I assume that you have to keep the rear subframe? Is it a lot of work? Do you have to significantly modify the bodywork?
Does it come with its own wiring? Does it hook into the stock harness? What happens if the stock harness is cut? Is it still possible to rig it up? If so, is it a lot of effort?
Can you please send me a picture of from the rear -- it is really hard to tell what it looks like from the sidewards picture on the website.

ANSWER: Sorry, our kits are made to fit the stock bodywork. To be truthful, you'd have an easier time making something from scratch, than to modify our kit/ or your tail. The joys of race plastic!
QUESTION: how hard is this to convert over? Please let me know how hard is it to do.
ANSWER: Give yourself a couple of hours. Take your time,follow the instructions, and it should be no trouble. There is some cutting (use a hacksaw blade), but the instructions tell you exactly what to cut. We also have great technical support over the phone.
