ANSWER: All depends on what color your tail section is. If you are not sure what the color is called please go to www.color-rite.com to double check your color.
QUESTION: i have a powercommander installed already is there a map that i can download after i fit the exhaust??
ANSWER: There is no map made exactly for this exhaust you can have a dyno shop custom make a map or you can run pretty much any slip on PC3 map and it would work fine.

ANSWER: Yes the blue will match your bike.
QUESTION: Is a power commander or similliar mapping device a must with exhaust upgrades or it just an enhancement? Do bikes get too lean without remapping?
ANSWER: You don’t need to re-map the bike but honestly just all depends on the bike. Sometimes after putting a aftermarket exhaust the bike will run lean or too Rich just all depends. But yes remapping a bike is a way to tune the bike to get Full HP from the exhaust. Usually slip on kits don’t need it.

ANSWER: This undertail for the repsol only comes in the dark blue. Also this kit comes with a license plate bracket you will have to drill 2 holes for it.
QUESTION: my local dmv says the turn signals have to be 9" apart,how far apart are the signals on this exhaust kit for a 06 cbr1000rr thanks
ANSWER: The signals are about 4-5 inches apart.

ANSWER: The blue we used to match was off of the blue & yellow 1000RR so as long as the color code is the same it will match.

ANSWER: Sorry, but as of right now we do not have a sound clip of this exhaust.

ANSWER: This kit is a bolt on exhaust. You will have to drill two holes in your tail section to hold the undertail in place.
QUESTION: Is there a recommended power commander I should use with this exhaust for a 2005 cbr 1000rr? Will any headers bolt up to this exhaust or does taking out the butterfly make stock pipe like a header?
ANSWER: for a power commander there is no specific one any one would work fine. As for the header we designed this to work only with Stock headers but if you find a after market header that has the size outlet where the mid pipe meets up then that would work

ANSWER: If you mean uploading a map you can use any of the other maps that they give you but for best performance a custom map would be the best.
QUESTION: The Honda shop tells me that by removing the butterfly valve you lose back pressure on the low end and ,consequently, performance unless the bike is remapped.
ANSWER: The butterfly valve is just an emission. All it does is read fuel and air mixture. The bike will not loose any power.

ANSWER: The exhaust is done just waiting to get that blue color matched. Has of right now no eta because we still need to locate a part off the bike to match it too.

ANSWER: This exhaust comes with a undertail that has blinkers built into it. The tail light blinker is a different part.

QUESTION: I have a 2004 Honda CBR 1000RR and is very interested in your undertail kit. What modifications has to be done to place the S-bend? as there is a device with two cables coming from it attached to the stock pipe just above where the S-bend is to be sliped on and clamped.
ANSWER: those 2 cables are the butterfly valve you just disconnect those cable and slide the s-bend on.

ANSWER: You do not have to get a power commander. You can just bolt the kit on but you will not get the full HP out of the system.
