Kawasaki Concours [ZG1000 (GTR)] Footpeg Lowering Brackets, 1986-current
The footpeg lowering brackets are placed between the stock footpeg brackets and the footpegs to lower the footpegs 1 1/2" (39mm). This will help to relieve knee and hip strain on long rides. You will only need to re-adjust the rear brake, rear brake switch, and gear shift.

QUESTION: I have a broken rightside footpeg lowering bracket on my 2003 Concours. I see you have a warranty for these items, what is the coverage and can I obtain a replacement. We are remodeling and I only have one half of the bracket that I can find in the "mess" do you need both parts for a replacement.

ANSWER: Hi Harlan,
It generally takes us about 30 minutes to install the peg brackets here in the shop start to finish. It might take someone who isn't as familiar 45 minutes to 1 hour. Hourly charges differ from shop to shop but typically are around $55 .

We currently do not offer a peg bracket for the ZZR1200. Our brackets will match up with the brackets on the bike but the footpegs themselves do not fit our lowering kits.

QUESTION: I am looking for a pair of footpeg lowering kit's for a 88 zx10.The concours and zx10 had the same frames correct? Would one of your kits fit my bike?
ANSWER: The K-204s will fit on the ZX-10 frame but the footpegs are different and will not adapt to the peg barcket without modification. We currently do not have a peg lowering kit that will work on the ZX-10. Sorry we couldn't help you out.

QUESTION: I have your Concours footpeg lowering kit. It is great. Please consider making or sourcing a similar kit for the Kawasaki Z750S - an upright naked bike, but with even less legroom than the Concours. Looks like a similar design to the Concour's pegs would work readily.

QUESTION: Hi, will the Footpeg Lowering Brackets for a Kawasaki Concours (Item no. K204) fit on a ZRX1200?
Or, do I need invest in some rearsets or a taller seat? I'm 6'3", with a 34" inseam, and the stock pegs aren't very comfortable--even a Z1000 or ZX-10 feels more comfortable, despite the more agressive position.

You will need to disconnect the brake pedal from the bike to lower the pedal down. We have found that removing the lock nut from the adjusting shaft gives you an additional 3/4" adjustability downward which most people need. QUESTION: 1.5 inches sure doesn't seem like much. I sat on the bike and tried to move my foot down 1.5 inches and it sure didn't change my knee angle much. I'm in a quandry.

ANSWER: 1.5" is as far as the controls will adjust. If we went lower, the brake pedal would be high.
