Why buy a BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH ASSY? Coarse or Fine?
These universal switches allow rearset users to operate the rear brake light. This all-in-one unit replaces the banjo bolt that connects the rear master cylinder to the rear brake line. You simply replace the bolt with this assembly and splice the wires into your existing brake light switch. The pressure inside your brake system then activates the brake light.
This part is a MUST HAVE item if you are going to ride your Woodcraft Race Rearset equipped bike on the street. Woodcraft Race Rearsets do NOT have a mount for your brake light switch linkage. This switch comes with a replacement banjo bolt and a pressure sensor switch that senses when pressure is applied, and triggers your brake light. The thread pitch can vary between different bikes IN THE SAME MODEL YEAR. Please make certain which thread pitch your specific bike has before ordering.

QUESTION: Thank you... just one further question if you will. Petals... does this mean I can use the OEM petals and if so do they require modification? If you are suggesting that I use after market petals and shifter, could you provide part numbers?

ANSWER: The OEM pedals work. We are making pedals that will be ready in about 3-4 weeks (Sept 2008)
QUESTION: You indicate that I require the existing rear sets... What do you mean by existing? All that is on the bike now is the OEM front and rear pegs.
ANSWER: Yes, OEM is what is meant there
QUESTION: Will they fit the new 2008 250R
ANSWER: Yes, we have confirmed that they will
QUESTION: Why can't you re-use the original rear brake light switch if you're re-using the oem pedal?
ANSWER: There is no place to secure the switch to on the back side of the rearset bracket. These are race parts - so brake light switches are not a priority when looking at the design. They are make to be good looking, but crash durability, peg grip and ground clearance are the priorities.
QUESTION: Will the stock master cylinder work with this kit, and what other parts would be neccesary to make it work if any?
ANSWER: Yes, the master cylinder will work. If you have stock rearsets, you have everything you need (except for a brake light switch of you intend to street ride).
QUESTION: would it lower the seat height for 2007 250 ex. Does it come with instruction in installing it.
ANSWER: No, these are footpeg brackets and have nothing to do at all with the seat height. They do come with complete instructions.
QUESTION: I have a 2007 EX250F Ninja USA CA. Will the rearsets fit?
ANSWER: Yes.
QUESTION: I suppose this makes me dense, but exactly what does this product do?
ANSWER: It gives you more ground clearance, and stronger brackets and pegs that help protect the bike during a crash....just for starters
QUESTION: what about the pedals? are this adjustable?
ANSWER: No they are not. We are reasonably sure the positioning is suitable for nearly everyone.
