ANSWER: No it will not fit that year bike.
QUESTION: Do I need a flash rate controller kit for this undertail kit?
ANSWER: If you want the blinkers to flash slow like stock then yes you will need a resistors
QUESTION: Is the undertail kit for the 04 zx6r involve the plastic around the brake light, the thin V shape around mine broke making the brake light loose
ANSWER: The undertail kit is made of ABS plastic.
QUESTION: what if im running track fairings on my bike, will i be able to some how screw it to the track fairing??
ANSWER: This was made for to bolt up to stock rear tail section so you most likely will have make some brackets to hold it up to your track tail section.
QUESTION: will this model fits the zx6r'02
ANSWER: No, this undertail will not fit the 02 model but part # K026R-SS will.
QUESTION: with the undertail number plate bracket behind the turn signals will a standard number plate not hit the rear hugger?
ANSWER: The kit comes with a L shape bracket to mount it on the undertail. If you mount it behind the lights it will not hit the tire hugger.
QUESTION: Does anyone have a picture of the finished item with the number plate mounted as well, thanks
ANSWER: I don't have a picture of this undertail mounted with the plate but I will send a picture of one with the same design of undertail.

ANSWER: Honestly I am not sure but I think that hugger is in stock.

ANSWER: We actually only make the undertail exhaust kit for the 05 zx6r.

ANSWER: that part will not fit but the 98-01 zx6r undertail will work for the zzr

ANSWER: Sorry, but no this undertail will not fit the zzr.

ANSWER: No, it will not fit. They are different tail sections and the mounting points will not line up correctly.
QUESTION: Could you explain exactly where the license plate bracket is located?
ANSWER: We recommend putting the license plate bracket right behind the turn signal brackets.
QUESTION: Do you experience problems where the undertails do not match the factory paint of the bikes due to the paint fading over time? Is there a time frame you recommend purchasing the undertails before bikes get too old and paint fades? I have a 2004 zx6rr that I purchased in July and I am worried the undertail color will not match exactly!

ANSWER: It shouldnt be a problem. For a bike from last year the paint should be fine.

ANSWER: No, the best way to go is to use the LED lights we carry under "License Plate Mounting"
