ANSWER: Hi the reason why there is an R instead of GSXR is because Suzuki requested from all companies using the logo GSXR to remove it. We had no choice.

ANSWER: You do not have to cut it to disconnect the stock tail lights you only have to plug the lisence plate light
Does the license plate light provided by the kit plug into the orinigal lp light harness or do you have to cut and splice into it? If cutting and splicing is involved, is there a harness or kit that can be purchased that will allow your kit to be just plugged in?
ANSWER: Sorry there is no kit for sale to do what you want but you can slice and twist the wire of the license plate light with the stock connection and put some electric tape over it

QUESTION: Do I have to remove body parts and the rivets to install this? Or is it as simples as unbolt the four bolts from the mud guard and put this one in it's place?
ANSWER: remove the seat, remove the mud guard then unplug lights.
then you install the fender kit, and replug all lights..it is as simple as that
QUESTION: will cutting the plate light wire hurt anything electronically on the bike?
ANSWER: No, this installation is also optional
QUESTION: Have you considered shipping a connector attached to the LED so that the stock wire on the original fender does not have to be cut and spliced onto the LED light for connection? Also, have you considered upgrading the LED as it is not nearly bright enough to light the plate to standards? Don't get me wrong, it was extremely easy to install and I love the quality of this part.

ANSWER: This product is made in house and manufactured by Rumble, as far as the fit we have the nicest and the finest quality available with a fit and finish made with bike in our shop.

ANSWER: This replaces the mud guard, so nothing is lost in space or storage
QUESTION: Is it possible that the light with this kit is defective? I just got one and love the look but can't get the light on no matter which way I wire it.
ANSWER: It could be defective just like anything else, contact !tail and they will confirm a replacement
