QUESTION: Are these basically straight pipes removing the stock canisters (mufflers)? After putting them on, will my bike still be street legal?
ANSWER: This megaphone has no baffle. As for being legal you would have to check with your local DMV on laws.
QUESTION: would it fit a suzuki tl1000r or do you have a slash cut kit for it
ANSWER: Not sure if this megaphone would fit the TL. You might have to modify something on the bike but try searching on forums because honestly I have seen these megaphones on a lot of different bikes.
QUESTION: Do I have to do anything else to the bike once i put the Hotbodies exhaust on? Like remap the fuel of anything?
ANSWER: Well if you have a PCIII then I would recommend remapping just that way you can adjust the fuel for the bike to run with a slip on kit. But if you don’t have one right now then no you don’t have too.

ANSWER: Not this exhaust, but we have seen people put part # S05GS-XSO on there bike but honestly i am not sure what they had to modify to make it fit on your 04-05 GSXR600/750.

ANSWER: yes your stock lower will still mount like OEM.

ANSWER: Yes, it will fit the 08 model.

ANSWER: Sorry, no megaphone for Honda

ANSWER: I have seen people with busa's use this exhaust, just not sure what mods have to be done to make it work.
QUESTION: These are some things I read about this product. "Fuel remapping recommended. Will rub kickstand when installed. Chain must be properly adjusted to clear. Improper angle of installation will result in possible kickstand safety switch actuation." How hard is it to solve these problems?
ANSWER: Once the kickstand is up it will rest on the exhaust. As for the chain just make sure its nice and snug and not loose. Also once you install this exhaust you should move your rear sets up and forward and that will also help a lot.
QUESTION: now the stock is 91db at 6000 rpms how many db are the megaphone exhaust?
ANSWER: We actually don't have the DB rating for this exhaust
QUESTION: Is it as easy to install as the "SUZUKI GSX-R 1000 (05-06) SLASH CUT MEGAPHONE SIDE MOUNT EXHAUST"? Because you guys mentioned that the kit can be installed in an hour and also comes with photos (the 05-06 that is)!!
ANSWER: this kit has a few extra steps for install but is still easy. For this install you have to adjust your rear sets as far up and forward on the bike and thats it.
QUESTION: will the 05 06 slash cut exhaust work with the 07'? if so, do any adjustments have to be made for it to fit?
ANSWER: No, the 05-06 slash cut will not work because the 05 is just a single canister.
QUESTION: Do you have to make adjustments to your motor such as ,a power commander,fuel injection or any other modifications. And what do you mean by no need to rejet the bike.
ANSWER: You don't have to do anything to the bike after this is put on. But if you get the bike re-mapped for the exhaust, you will get more HP out of the exhaust.
QUESTION: Do you have to do anything to your bike,any adjustments or do you have any loss of power.
ANSWER: no loss of power. As for adjustments the only thing you have to do is on your rear sets you have to put them as far up and forward as possiable.
QUESTION: Do these come with removeable baffles like the jardine slip-ons, if not do you know of any other companies that make dual slash cut slip-ons with removeable baffles?
ANSWER: This exhaust actually has no baffle because the stock charcoal canister is really big.
QUESTION: How much horsepower does the GSXR 1000 gain with the Hotbodies megaphone exhaust?
ANSWER: We do not have a dyno for that pipe yet.
QUESTION: Can you get these in anodized black?
ANSWER: we only sell them in chrome but im sure you can have that done to it.
QUESTION: I have the pegs on the lowest setting and a fairly large foot, what are my chances of burning the soles of my boots on the exhaust?
ANSWER: for this exhaust we recommend the foot pegs on the top setting and far forward. As for the shoe part of the question not quite sure.
