QUESTION: Do they make any mirror extenders that stick out any further, maybe another 1/2 to 1". Or for that matter a new mirror that is simply longer.
ANSWER: Our mirror extenders are only 1". You start to get too much vibration after you pass the 1" mark.

QUESTION: I have a 2006 SV650s. I am interested in the mirror shims but I've seen comments that suggest the 1" is not enough. Where can I get either new mirrors or larger shims?
ANSWER: Hi,
We currently do not offer a thicker mirror extender because the vibration starts to get bad after 1" making it hard to see what is behind you. As for a different mirror, I haven't seen any yet.

ANSWER: Hi Dennis,
The S-217 mirror extenders will not fit the 07 Ninja 650R. They look very similar but the bolt holes will not line up. We will have mirror extenders for the 650R in the next 3-4 weeks.

You will not have to remove the rubber sleeves on the 06 busa. The mirror extenders will match up with the outside shape of the rubber sleeves.
