Installation Tip: The brake hose and the clutch will need to be removed from the metal cable routing brackets to get the extra slack that is needed. Also, the clutch perch can be moved inward on the handlebar to get a little extra slack. The risers are going to use nearly all of the slack in the control cables but will work with the stock cables.

The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION: Hi. I have an 08 Sprint that has been lowered about an inch could this be an issue with fitting these risers?
ANSWER: Hi,
The risers will still work fine. However you may not be able to use the aluminum tube that goes inside the riser. If the fork tubes have been raised in the triple-clamps 1" the tube will no longer be needed.
Thank you,
Scott-Genmar

QUESTION: Hi, I have a 2001 Triumph Sprint ST and I want to put your handle bar risers on it. I'm a little confused if I need a longer brake hose or not. Some web sites carrying the GenMar line say no cable or line changes are needed others say they are needed. Can you please clarify and tell me what model/item number to order? Thanks much, John
ANSWER: Hi John,
You will not need the brake line on the 01 Sprint ST. Only the 99-00 models require the longer brake line. You will want to order part # T-118.
Thank You,
scott-GenMar

QUESTION: just put the risers on my 07 Sprint st. The right bake cable seams very tight... Is that ok?
ANSWER: Hi,
You will want to make sure that the brake hose is outside any routing brackets or zip ties to get the slack you need. You will use almost all the slack in the brake hose but it should no be overly tight.
Thank you,
Scott-GenMar
QUESTION: Hi, I have a 2003 ST in the UK. My worry is not the cabling, but with a 32mm raise, is there sufficient clearance above the right grip, especially above the brake resevoir, to the bottom of the screen/fairing? On my bike, it appears not. Do you need to adjust the fairing at all? Thanks.
ANSWER: Hi,
The handlebars are raised on the same angle as the fork tubes. So when they come up, they also come back toward the rider. This gives you plenty of fairing clearance when the risers are installed. You will not have to adjust the fairing or make any modifications to the bike when using our risers.
Thank you,
Scott-GenMar
QUESTION: any risers for a 2007 sprint st?

The T-118 risers will fit on the 07 Sprint ST. However, you will have to remove the brake and clutch hoses from the metal wiring brackets to get the slack you will need.
Thank you,
Scott-GenMar
QUESTION: Is it OK to use these risers with factory fitted heated handlebar grips? I saw a mention of another brand where it wasn’t; the comment didn’t say why, but I guess it would be to do with the electrical wiring/connections.
ANSWER: Hi,
It is OK to use our risers with the heated grips.
Thank you,
Scott-GenMar

QUESTION: I have a 2000 Sprint RS. How much does this limit the sterring (i.e. is my hand going to hit the fairing easily)? Should I go with the 3/4" instead?
ANSWER: Hi,
The risers will not limit the sterring on the 2000 Sprint RS. Since the risers are on the same angle as the fork tubes, they come back toward you as well and do not change the clearance for you hands.
Thanks for the inquiry,
Scott-GenMar
QUESTION: just got these for 05 st,will not fit with stock brake hose & throttle coables. can i exchange for lower style.
ANSWER: Hi,
You can get the extra slack you need by removing the cables from the routing bracket. This will give you enough slack to install the risers.
