QUESTION: I don't have the stock license plate light. Is there an aftermarket LED license plate light that will work (and look good) with this kit?
ANSWER: To be honest I don't have any idea. The plate would be at about a 40 degree angle to the light. Some of those Bolt LED's might work.
QUESTION: What kind of time is involved in installing this kit? I'm not a real hands on kind of person, are there any modifications that need to be made? and last will I need to drop the exhaust?
ANSWER: Exhaust stays in place...... give yourself an hour.

QUESTION: Why, in the picture, does it look like the bracket has been trimmed in the upper right hand corner to clear the right side exhaust? Is there really a potential clearance problem that you aren't indentifying, or does the plate mount come this way??????
ANSWER: Its a shadow.... There is 3/16" clearance on both sides

QUESTION: there is only 6 inches between my pipes so can your kit fit my plate between the pipes when the plate is 7 inches?
ANSWER: Your pipes get closer the farther back they are.... This kit mounts about 9-10 inches forward..... where there's enough room.......

ANSWER: If its more than 7 inches wide it won't work.

ANSWER: You'll either need to trim the plate or fold it around the edges

ANSWER: Yes, but there will be a hole above the plate where the light is supposed to go.

ANSWER: Yes, the 1H800 fits 98-01. Remember are products are stainless steel NOT painted

ANSWER: It IS between the pipes but forward about 6". there's enough room.

ANSWER: No new holes. There are a couple of states (Ohio, Maryland?) that use wider plates that do need to be trimmed, but the other 48 are fine. Canadian vary from prov. to prov.
QUESTION: When the kit is installed, does it have the small, R1 like shield, right above the tire to keep the rocks from flying up?
ANSWER: This is a FENDER ELIMINATOR not a hugger fender

ANSWER: Yes, it's just relocated.
