This kit requires cutting the stock fender. It only covers what is required to cover/conceal cuts made. QUESTION:  Since the license plate light is mounted to the rear fender, how does this fender eliminator work? I have a 2001 vfr 800 and was told that without the light mounted above the license plate, it would be illegal. ANSWER:  All of our kits retain a lic light. QUESTION:  I have a 98 vfr 800, does this kit take the stock pipe and route it under the seat? I did not see pictures to know for sure ANSWER:  NO. it doesn't effect the exhaust.
