What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. The side mount also eliminates the hassle of trying to dig out a puck replacement bolt through a distorted hole.
These sliders, made specially for the Honda, have a low profile puck that gives great protection but does not have the issues that longer pucks do on this model. ANSWER: Remove and replace the OEM motor mounting bolts with the frame slider assembly and supplied bolts.
QUESTION: Is there any cutting involved to install these on the 07 CBR600RR?
ANSWER: Yes, you need to cut partial circles on both sides. This allows them to come straight off the motor mount and provide the best possible protection for the bike. We avoid offset sliders whenever possible, as it weakens the overall structure of the slider.
