The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION:  I would like to run a set of these on my 41mm Harley front end. Do any come set up for 1" bars? Thanks.
ANSWER:  We can make 1" harley bars to fit any of our clipons. The extra cost is $25 per set.
QUESTION:  do they come as a set?(of 2).
ANSWER:  yes
QUESTION:  wich 41's should i use for my 88 honda hawk gt?
ANSWER:  Stock forks on your bike are 41mm, yes.
QUESTION:  so can a naked Sv650 use these clip-ons or not? the answer to one post says absolutely not, and another a few down answering a cable question suggests that you can. if the stock headlight and mounts are removed, will these clip-ons work? im looking to achieve that street fighter look without the corny crome handle bars.
ANSWER:  With the headlight assembly set up as the bike comes, these will not fit. I am aware of someone who posted on an SV forum a way to modify the headlight to make it all work, but I do not have the exact forum information. For racing (i.e. no lights) there is not problem at all. So, to answer your question, if you remove or modify the headlight these can be made to work. Almost all racers do it.
QUESTION:  i want these for my 650r. but in tha q&a it says i need to make 2 inch holes for sliders.?? is there something i'm missing???
ANSWER:  Unrealted subject (2" holes). For this bike, there is a special setup on the 41mm clipons - be sure you get that and not the regular 41's (which will work perfectly, but you have to cut off a protrusion under the top triple clamp). The special 41's make it so that you do not have to make that little mod.
QUESTION:  Ok thank you for your reply Just for information the triumph new bonneville is in 1" like harley's Do you have any custom made clip on like a special order for this issue? Regards
ANSWER:  We have custom bars that add $25 to the price of the clipons.
QUESTION:   are the bar 25mm (1 inch) diamater? need to fit on new triumph bonneville 2001, fork is 41mm
ANSWER:  No, they are 7/8", which is standard on nearly all motorcycles....I do not know personally about the Bonneville - but I would be surprised if they were 1" as the only bikes that I am aware of that use them are Harley Davidsons.
QUESTION:  What kind of modifcations would I have to make to the fairings of an 07 ninja 650r.
ANSWER:  2" Holes in the fairing for the sliders to pass through.
QUESTION:  I am planning on installing the clip on's on my Ninja 650R. In order to do this you have to lower the front of the bike. By lowering the front of the bike, How would this affect the performance of the bike (handling, suspension, etc.)? Is this a good idea? Please let me know.
ANSWER:  Actually, you do not need to lower the front end of the bike to install these - they are generally installed under the top clamp. This does involve trimming the bodywork on a few types of race fairings (not all). The mounting below the clamp been done by a number of teams that are racing this bike. Lowering the front enough to mount them on top of the clamp will result in a bike that is very unstable and is not recommended.
QUESTION:  I have a 91' honda cbr 600f2 and wanted to double check that these fit and was wondering how much they lower the bars?
ANSWER:  These are the correct size for your forks. Fitment and clearance is up to the end user to judge. They bring the bras flush with the underside of the top triple clamp.
QUESTION:  I have a 06 Kawasaki Z750s. Will these bolt onto this bike?
ANSWER:  We have never sold clipons for that bike, but I doubt that they are 41mm. If you have upside down forks, they likely have 41mm lower sliders, but the upper part of the fork where the clipon goes would likely be 50mmm. The best thing to do is to measure the fork to be 100% sure.
QUESTION:  What I need to use these for the 06 Suzuki SV650S? Controls, drilling??
ANSWER:  OEM controls will work fine, you have to drill holes for the locating pins.
QUESTION:  Will these fit my stock ninja 650? If not what modifications would I need to make?
ANSWER:  This is the correct size for your fork tubes. You need to make fairing modifications in order to install them on a stock bike (clearance for the bars).
QUESTION:  Will they hit the tank on 99-02 and will mounting them on top of triple clamp alter the geometry of the bike?
ANSWER:  We have not had any issues with hitting the tank. As far as the geometry goes - you`d have to slide the forks a good way up to mount them on top and that will change the geometry drastically. Mount them under the top triple clamp.
QUESTION:  Will these fit on my 2004 Honda Hornet (599). I know it does have 41mm forks. Please inform me of any other issues before I order. Thanks!
ANSWER:  I have never tired to install them on a Hornet...you'll have to make your best judgement.
QUESTION:  I recently acqiured a 1991 Honda VFR750. the previous owner put on Heli-Bars which are too high for me (they also put the bars high enough to slightly bump my hands on the fairing at full rotation). Will these clip-ons work? Thanks, Matt
ANSWER:  We don't know for sure. The clamps are 1-1/2" high and are at a 7 degree angle like stock. The tubes are 12" long. You can mount them above or below the triple clamp making sure you have the clamp in full contact. You will need to determine if there would be any clearance issues with your bodywork, etc. these are designed primarily for road racing use so street riders need to check things out beforehand.
QUESTION:  On the Ninja 650R, Say the triple clamp was lowered on the forks so you could mount the 41mm clip-ons, above it, @ the highest point possible. Do you think they would clear the bodywork?
ANSWER:  It is possible. We have a very simple solution that allows our clipons to mount below the clamp (which is the best solution for racing). Several aftermarket bodywork companies make bodywork that has no clearance issues, the main problem is the gauge cluster. If an aftermarket fairing bracket would push them an inch or two deeper into the fairing on that bike then the clipons become a non issue. I would not advise dropping the front end to do what you suggest - the bike would be very unstable.
QUESTION:  Can you give more info on drilling needed for naked SV650. Thanks
ANSWER:  A naked SV cannot use clipons because the headlight mounting system from the factory interferes with just about everything. Only SV650S models and track bikes (headlight removed) can use clipons.
QUESTION:  will Anti-Vibration Bar Ends fit these
ANSWER:  It depends on what size - the ID of the bars is 5/8"
QUESTION:  will all the stock controls fit on these bars for a naked sv650...starter switch, throttle, clutch brake levers, etc...?
ANSWER:  Yes, you just need to drill the hole for the anti-rotation pin in the bar. Installation is typically about 1/2 hour.
QUESTION:  On a naked 2003 sv650 will these work with the stock cables without having to make any changes for cable length, and is it easy to switch back to stock bars? Thanks, Rob
ANSWER:  You will not have to change the length of the cables. Our 2 piece split design makes installation a snap.
