ANSWER: You'll need to cut flush to the bodywork line, all cuts will be concealed within the kit. The instructions have drawing to refer to.

ANSWER: Any and all cuts are to the black plastic fender. Once the kit is installed all cuts will be concealed, you will retail 90-95% of your storage area.

ANSWER: It will eliminate the ugly black plastic fender off the back of your bike. Giving you new mounting points for your lic plate and turn signals. Overall it does make your bike look racier and lighter.

QUESTION: I just bought a motorcycle and want to get a fender eliminter kit. My title says it is a 2000 yamaha yz600rm. Will this kit fit it? how hard is it to instal, like what kinds of tools will I need? Is this the only kit I can get for it?
ANSWER: If it's not an R-6 then it's a 600r. This kit will fit the 600r. Takes about 2 hrs. to install, using normal hand tools and a hacksaw blade. This is the only kit we have available for this bike.
