The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars up 1 1/4" (38mm). This will help to relieve wrist and neck pain on long rides. Requires no change of any control cables, wiring, or hoses.

ANSWER: The Y-203 risers only raise the bars up 1". The 1 1/4" listing is a typo that I was unaware of.

QUESTION: I've just purchased these and installed them today. right side has a little movement in bar and beauty cover do not fit exactly like factory setup. They just kind of rest on top and don't quite set in properly, any insight to this problem? 07 FJR 1300a jim coury
ANSWER: Hi Jim,
As far as the movement goes, please recheck the torque on the mounting bolts. The handlebars should not have any play when torqued properly. Are the beauty covers bottoming out on the bolts? We usually don't have a problem with the covers not fitting correctly but it is possible that the bolts may be too long and not letting the covers go in place.

QUESTION: Do I have to remove the ignition from the triple clamp? There is no mention of this in the installation instructions, but the photos show the ignition removed.
Please clarify the height of the riser (conflicting information on your site). Is it 1-1/4 inches or 1 inch?
I'm also considering a helibar triple clamp. Can you compare the two products?
These questions relate to a 2008 FJR1300
ANSWER: You will not have to remove the ignition from the triple clamp to install the Y-203 risers. We completely removed our triple-clamp from the bike for picture purposes only. The Y-203 risers are 1" tall. I haven't rode a new FJR with the Heli set-up so I don't have any information to compare the two products.

ANSWER: The Y-203 risers will fit on the 08 FJR.
QUESTION: Your listing reads "Requires no change of any control cables," ect , is that for just for the 3/4" risers or for the 1" and 1 1/4" also.
ANSWER: We only carry one height riser for the new FJR1300. The risers are 1" and you can use all of your stock control cables.

QUESTION: Is the pull back angle the same, or did you "flatten" it out some? I could live with the stock height if the angle were reduced some.
ANSWER: The riders do not change the stock angle of the bars. The bars can be rotated inward slightly but not upward.
QUESTION: Is your product available for shipping to Australia, or do you have an Australian distributor?
ANSWER: Our Y-203s are available and ready for shipment to Australia. We do not have an Australian distributor.
QUESTION: Will I still be able to change the angle of my bars? Are longer bolts supplied?
ANSWER: You will still be able to use the three stock settings for the handlebars. All the mounting hardware needed will be supplied.
