I think I can cut it the size of the bolt and then slide that through and have the slider up against the fairing. ANSWER:  If you think the bolt and spacer supplied will be long enough ,than you can mount it like that. Make sure the bolt catches plenty of thread in the motor mount.Always use Loctite Blue.
