QUESTION:  I just put the Y-122 risers on and it only took about 30 minutes for my 30 Silverado 650 but... there is a gap on the back of the risers, next to the tank. Is this normal?

QUESTION:  is it still 14lbs torque? Thank you James & Grace Norton
ANSWER:  14-16 lbs torque is recommended.
QUESTION:  Thank you it did. I went ahead and ordered the risers but i have another question about the instalation. Your instructions state that you must first put in the screws closest to the front wheel and then put on the handle bar and continue the instalation. Question: with the Y-122 this would not appear to be correct because the risers go inbetween the bars and the orrigianl equipment. How do you remove the screws so that you can put the top caps on if you install the front screws first? I hope this makes sence. ------------------ Your Question is: You probably have been asked this before but will they fit an 03 V Star 650 Silverado? Will it work with stock cables? Our Answer is: Hi, The Y-122 risers will fit the 03 V-Star 650 Silverado without any changes to the control cables. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
ANSWER:  It sounds like you received the installation instructions for our universal risers that have three bolts per riser. The instructions are basically the same except you will not install the bolts until the risers, handlebars, and top caps are in place. We apologize for the confusion. Thank you, Scott-GenMar
