ANSWER: Just remove the cables. They will not be used on the megaphone exhaust.

QUESTION: I have a 1999 r1 with a hindel exhaust. The outlet on the headpipe is 2 in. Is there a megaphone exhaust that will fit and if so where can i get one?
ANSWER: Sorry but all of the megaphones we carry are smaller than 2 inches. The only thing you might be able to do is have the pipe expanded to make it work with your bike.

ANSWER: We don’t make a megaphone or that bike but I am sure you can modify this kit to make it work. Try searching some forums.

ANSWER: You would have to modify the kit and honestly we can't say how hard it would be because we have never tried it.

ANSWER: This exhaust will not fit on your 05 model unless you modify it. If you do get it to fit you will gain HP from it.

ANSWER: Sorry, but we only carry it in the steel.. I have heard of people power coating these pipes if thats something your looking to do not quite sure how much it would cost.

ANSWER: This exhaust does have a after market sound not quite sure how loud you want but this has a nice deep throaty sound to it.

ANSWER: if your looking for more HP i would recommend a PC3 and then have the bike put on a Dyno for best results. But also if you do not want to spend the money on the dyno plus the PC3 you can run it as is when you get it.
