ANSWER: Mounts to existing hardware for the hugger. Signals mount to cover plates which fill the void of the bodywork.....

QUESTION: Does this kit require splicing into the existing signal and tag light wiring or does it plug directly into the harness? I ask because I have installed another kit that I do not like and fear that I may have cut the existing wiring too short to work with this kit.
ANSWER: It does require some wire slicing.
